Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, New Brunswick is pleased to have the Tower Clock up and running again on the Waksman Institute building . The University Clock was not keeping the correct time and two of the four dials on the tower clock just stopped operating all together.
Coastal Clock and Chime Co. removed the old clock movements and hands from the clock faces.
The hands were remade and balanced, new clock movements and a digital controller were installed.
The automatic operation and control of power outage time correction and Day Light Savings Time correction is handled by the new digital controller.
Faculty and student body alike commented it was nice to have the clocks running again, as well as golfers playing on the Rutgers Golf Course that is overlooked by the Waksman Institute Building.
