Initially, we were called to Pine Grove Baptist Church for a broken rope replacement job. When we arrived, we noticed that the structure housing the bell was scarred and rotted. It no longer supported the way to the bell. We checked further and saw that the mounting bolts had rusted away and caused multiple problems with the operation of the bell and the safety of the bell in the tower. Carl then proceeded to quote options to the client. Pine Grove elected to have a new steel bell skid fabricated and have the bell restored to its original appearance. It will be reinstalled with a new rope refurbish clapper after necessary tower work has been completed.
We look forward to placing the bell back in its home.
